The Lokman Slim Foundation is pleased to host its third webinar for this year with guest speaker Ahmad Al-Moustafa, Libyan political activist and co-founder of Libya Crimes Watch.
This webinar with Al-Moustafa will address the assassinations of political and social activists and journalists who played a prominent role in influencing Libyan public life after the revolution. It will trace how this practice was deeply rooted in Gaddafi’s regime and has since continued into present-day Libya. It will also examine the circumstances around and causes of these crimes and their impact on political life, as the country’s political landscape has been significantly impacted by the targeted killing and enforced disappearances of leaders.
Organized with the kind support of Open Society Foundations.
